Google have partnered with Udacity (the infamous online learning platform) to provide a self-paced, project-based course called the ‘Nanodegree’.
In contrast to Udacity’s usual lighter weight online courses, the Nanodegree aims to provide some seriously practical experience, and participants can earn themselves a qualification at the end.
The programs available on the Nanodegree include:
- Front-end web development
- Android development
- Data analysis
- iOS development
- Full-stack development
- Introduction to Programming
This is a great opportunity for programming-enthusiasts looking to improve their career prospects!
This course, unlike the rest of Udacity’s free courses, costs $200 per month, with each program expected to take between 6 – 12 months depending on your study schedule. This is a great alternative to a traditional degree, as it is much more practical/project based, and you can do it at your own pace.
