About the Company:

Hi9 is a small, fast-growing team of software engineers and dialogue designers. We are proud of our ‘ground-up’ ethos which always prioritises the most disadvantaged users, whether in project focus, design process, or testing environment.


The role:

We are excited to recruit for a 3-year European funded project to revolutionise access to public services for the most disadvantaged in society, using AI, Natural Language, and emotion design. We are looking for a JavaScript developer with at least 3 years’ experience and a deep knowledge of Node.


You will work in an Agile environment with a continuous integration developer flow, and assist in meeting the agreed KPIs. Using JavaScript and Python, and through Node JS and serverless architecture, you will use APIs and Webhooks to interact with ML Models and third-party services to deliver bots that work according to the needs of the project.


This work will be done flexibly, working from home and office. There will be some workshops, training and team meet-ups undertaken in Cornwall, Plymouth and sometimes London.

Experience and Skills
·      Self-motivated, consistent, disciplined, able to deliver to deadlines

·      At least 3 years’ experience developing in JavaScript

·      Evidence of delivering projects

·      Experience working in an Agile environment

·      Deep knowledge of JavaScript, especially Node

·      Some experience and knowledge of Python

·      Experience working on cloud platforms using serverless architecture

·      Experience working with APIs and Webhooks

·      Some knowledge of creating cloud functions using either Node or Python
