Forward Thinking Software
If you love data and you want a really interesting challenge, then we have something pretty unique as we continue the delivery of our data and analytics programme, working with one of our key clients.
The core requirement for this position is to create an enterprise master data management (MDM) strategy, developing models, principles and architectural approaches, then ensuring their successful realisation and technical delivery within the cloud-based data warehouse already in place.
Why work for Headforwards?
We are a software development company with just over 100 people from 18 different countries and we like to have fun at work. We are agile with a very laid back feel, a relatively flat structure and small self-organising teams of 2-7 people. There’s no pressure to work extra hours to churn out more and more code. At Headforwards, our culture and environment is dedicated to making people happy at work. We have lots of social activities and monthly learning sessions, talks and cross company communities of practice for various languages, tools and frameworks. This is a place where you can make a difference, work in a small team start-up feel but benefit from the support of a larger community of developers and like-minded people. We work in teams dedicated to various clients and we work on global projects with cutting edge technologies, tools and techniques. We live in beautiful Cornwall, our offices are 5 miles from the beach but we also have a large collection of remote workers too!
Our client is a multi-disciplinary organisation and as such, you’ll need to guide how applications within their estate integrate and exchange data with each other, seek consensus in the establishment of business rules & precedence and support the wider data and analytics programme with the implementation of MDM as a core philosophy. Furthermore, we’ll need your expertise in supporting the cultural adoption of best practice data principles, working closely with the client’s workforce so they can understand the inherent value of data and the opportunities they provide.
You’ll be part of an established agile team with the option of remote working and the need to occasionally visit our clients offices once lockdown is eased.
