About The Role
We’re now seeking a Head of Technology Strategy to join our Launchpad Team, that will help shape the future of our technology offering, evaluate the technology needs and direction of travel of our venture teams to help them scale and create real-world impact at a systems level. You will work with the Head of Programme and other venture studio colleagues whilst leading a small, tightly knit team to create compelling technology offerings to our cohorts that support them to rapidly build their MVPs and gain market traction ahead of their competition.
This post will be integral to our graduating teams in a hands-on advisory, and mentoring capacity as they grow their businesses.
You will need to be a pro-active team player who is conscientious and hard-working; actively playing your part in keeping Launchpad ahead of the curve. It’s a fast-paced environment, we are looking for people who have the energy and clarity of thought needed to ensure we can successfully traverse an ever-changing start-up technology landscape, as we and our ventures execute ambitious plans. Alongside these core qualities, you’ll be an outstanding technologist and enjoy communicating complex ideas and issues to different audiences; and be comfortable deploying sophisticated business and technology strategies hand-in-hand for impact at scale.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Detailed knowledge of current technology trends and their use in start-ups.
- Experience of working with and communicating to a diverse range of people.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing and delivering prototype software products.
- Experience of running your own business, or running product development teams.
