What EU Funded Programmes are Software Cornwall involved in? - Software Cornwall

We are currently involved in four EU funded programmes:

European Social Fund – ESF
Employer Led Skills – ELS – managed by the Cornwall Marine Network. We run a specialist programme focussing on delivering training and upskilling course for the software/tech/digital sector as part of the much wider ELS programme. This supports the Upskilling part of our Academy. This programme is up and running now and will operate through to mid-2023.

Clusters – this is managed by Truro & Penwith College. We will be running specialist courses that will allow those who wish to change career into the software/tech/digital sectors from other sectors. This programme is still under development and we are hoping to have our first entrants in early 2021.

European Regional Development Fund – ERDF
Digital Transformation Programme – DTP – this is being managed by Unlocking Potential who are part of the Cornwall College Group. This programme is just getting underway and Software Cornwall will be working strategically with the DTP to bring together our members with companies in Cornwall that need to implement new systems, looking for software development partners or want to enhance their own digital skills.

EPIC2 – this is being managed by the University of Plymouth – UoP – the programme is aimed at enlarging the Health and Care Cluster of companies in Cornwall. Software Cornwall is working with UoP to build on the work done in EPIC1 to further grow this sector.
