Training Needs for Employees
Employer Led Skills is a European Social Funded program where Software Cornwall is a delivery partner within the program run by the Cornwall Marine Network.
Employer Led Skills, as the name implies, is about training needs guided by requirements of companies themselves. This may be from training they have identified themselves or by a training needs analysis of that company. The training is then organised by Software Cornwall, partly funded for the companies by the European Social Fund, and also opened to other businesses interested in sending employees along.
The training can be on any subject that benefits the companies and employees. It should enable the employees to perform their job more effectively, or enable progression within the company or enhance the role and employability. The Employer Led Skills is also about getting companies to realise the benefit of developing their staff capabilities.
