Tech Connect; Demystifying AI
Tuesday January 18 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
About this event
You’re invited to ‘Demystifying AI’: what is AI and how can it enhance my life?
This half-day event includes workshops and talks from industry experts, those harnessing artificial intelligence for the benefit of Cornish communities and individuals, utilising the latest developments to empower areas of business, medical, gaming, healthcare and more.
AI has become the most talked about, most sensationalised technology in the world today, and so for our first event of 2022, we’ve collaborated with members and partners to confront this issue, bringing you the best and brightest and enabling companies in Cornwall to ‘level-up’.
This introductory event will break down the essential principles of AI, so by the time you leave even complete beginners will understand the basics and know how to utilise this information for your own interest. You’ll also have a good handle on who has AI expertise in Cornwall, so you can build your network and seek further information.
The event will signpost further support, so whether you’re an individual wanting to learn more for fun, or a business already using AI to solve customer pain points and are wanting to scale, this is the event for you.
The agenda is subject to change. The start and end times will remain the same. The latest agenda will be posted on the Eventbrite registration page: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/tech-connect-demystifying-ai-tickets-225927012777

The “C” Word
If for any reason, we cannot hold this as an in-person event we will reschedule this to a later date in the year. This is an important and valuable topic which deserves to be done properly. Not to mention, we’re all fed up of seeing each other on Zoom!
Tickets for the rescheduled event will roll over and we’ll contact everyone directly as soon as we have a confirmed date.
In its place, we will hold a short, free online panel discussion featuring some of Cornwall’s key business people working on the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the County and the rest of the Country. As well as being able to watch the discussion online, members and ticket holders will be able to ask questions to the panel during the event.
Could you entertain, educate, inform or inspire the Software Cornwall audience with a workshop or talk? We’ve got plenty of spaces at this event and future ones for enthusiastic speakers and workshop leaders.
Our team can support you throughout the whole process and you’ll be able to speak to a room full of engaged subject experts, entrepreneurs and business leaders from all across Cornwall and the South West.
To submit a talk or workshop topic – please complete this form.
