Meet the World: Introducing Innovate UK

About this Event
Innovate UK drives productivity and economic growth by supporting and funding businesses to develop and realise the potential of new ideas, including those from the UK’s world-class research base. Their delivery partners, Innovate EDGE, enable ambitious, innovative SMEs to accelerate their growth and achieve scale with customised support including sourcing funding and finance and entering new markets. Led by Layla Burrows, Regional Manager – South West, this session will cover the funding opportunities available from Innovate UK and how you can engage regional support for supporting your application.

The Meet the World Online Series aims to facilitate discussion about eHealth solutions across continents. These taster sessions are opportunities to meet organisations and businesses around the globe to explore how technology can improve health and wellbeing. The event series is suitable for: health and care professionals, SMEs, local council, academics, commissioners, patient representative groups and more.
Delivered by EPIC, The Meet the World series of events are fully-funded webinars. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EPIC is a £4 million project led by the University of Plymouth’s Centre for Health Technology. EPIC provides sector-specific support for local businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to develop new eHealth products and services that will not only create new jobs and support the local economy, but create truly useful innovations to improve quality of life and boost wellbeing for many.
