The Digital Transformation project has been developed by local businesses for local businesses. Delivered by The Cornwall College Group in conjunction with their strategic partner, Software Cornwall, the project will provide business support to SMEs in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (C&IoS), aiming to increase productivity and competitiveness.
It will focus on raising productivity within digital and non-digital SMEs by supporting them to implement digital solutions. Digital Transformation will support non-digital SMEs to understand which technologies they could leverage to help them grow and become more efficient, thereby contributing to an increase in productivity for the region.
The project will establish a Digital Marketplace. The primary purpose to facilitate collaboration between digital and non-digital SMEs in C&IoS and to guide non-digital SMEs through procuring their digital solutions. The process will enable digital SMEs to gain confidence in tendering for contracts, helping them to increase their market reach and be competitive for larger, public service contracts.
The project will also create the Digital Transformation Hub which will provide a networking space to help facilitate collaboration and peer to peer learning through the project. From the Digital Hub SMEs will be able to access support from their Digital Innovator, utilise meeting room space, attend events and connect with other SMEs.
